The stock AST becomes brittle with age and has a tendency to 'Explode'. As we all know RX7's need to be efficiently cooled and just a small amount of overheating can write an engine off. It is for this reason that we recomend you replace the standard item with a robust and attractive Aluminium replacement. We feel that our item is priced very reasonably, especially when compared to the price of an engine rebuild. WGT's AST's are priced at £95.
